Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using MakeDemos ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

Description of Service

MakeDemos is a desktop application for screen recording and video editing. The Service allows you to record your screen, add effects, and export professional demo videos. All video processing occurs locally on your device.

Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account by signing in with Google. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your account
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

Subscription Plans and Pricing

We offer the following plans:

Free Plan - Limited exports with 720p/1080p resolution
Trial - 14-day access to Pro features
Pro Plan - Monthly or yearly subscription with unlimited exports and 4K resolution
Lifetime Plan - One-time purchase with lifetime access to Pro features

Prices are subject to change with notice. Existing subscriptions will not be affected by price changes until renewal.

Refund Policy - All Sales Final

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS OF ANY KIND.

By purchasing a subscription or lifetime license, you acknowledge and agree that:

All purchases are non-refundable
We do not provide refunds for unused subscription periods
We do not provide refunds for lifetime purchases under any circumstances
We do not provide partial refunds or credits
Chargebacks may result in immediate account termination

We strongly recommend using the 14-day free trial to evaluate the Service before making any purchase.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
No refund will be provided for the remaining days in the current period
Your account will revert to the Free plan after the subscription ends

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
Record content without proper authorization
Distribute malware or harmful content
Attempt to bypass usage limits or licensing restrictions
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
Share your account credentials with others
Use automated systems to abuse the Service

Single Device Usage

Your license allows use on one device at a time. You may switch devices, but simultaneous use on multiple devices is not permitted. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate this restriction.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by MakeDemos and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to the videos you create using the Service. We claim no ownership over your content.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
The Service will meet your specific requirements
Any errors in the Service will be corrected

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAKEDEMOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

Your use or inability to use the Service
Any unauthorized access to your account
Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code
Any content obtained from the Service

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MakeDemos and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include:

Violation of these Terms
Fraudulent or illegal activity
Chargeback or payment dispute
Abuse of the Service or our systems

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. No refund will be provided for terminated accounts.

Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MakeDemos operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MakeDemos regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
